Dr. Aalam graduated with a DDS degree from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, Nice (France). He, subsequently, specialized in Advanced Periodontics at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles (USA). Dr. Aalam is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology. Dr Siamak Abai

Dr. Siamak Abai received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University, School of Dental and Oral Surgery, and his Masters of Medical Sciences degree in Oral Biology and Prosthodontics from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr Barry Bartee

Dr. Barry Bartee received his undergraduate education from Abilene Christian University where he earned a B.S. in Biology and then received the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. He began his professional career in 1986, practicing general dentistry in Lubbock, TX. After 9 years in private practice, Dr. Bartee completed additional studies at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, receiving the M.D. degree in 1999. Dr Bill Becker

Dr. Becker graduated from Marquette Dental School in 1961 and completed specialty training in periodontology and a MSD at Baylor College of Dentistry in 1966. In 1996 he received an honorary doctorate in odontology from Gothenburg University. He is a clinical professor of periodontology at USC in Los Angeles, an affiliate professor at the University of Washington and past-president of AAP. Prof. Nitzan Bichacho heads the Ronald E. Dr Markus Blatz

Dr. Markus B. Blatz is Professor and Chair in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and founding Director of their CAD/CAM Ceramic Center. He received his dental degree, Doctorate, postgraduate Certifi cate in Prosthodontics, Habilitation (PhD), and, most recently, a Professorship from Freiburg University in Germany. Dr L Stephen Buchanan

University of Southern California School of Dentistry and private practioner in Santa Barbara. Dr. L. Stephen Buchanan, was valedictorian of his class at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, completed the Endodontic Graduate program at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1980. Since that time he has maintained a private practice limited to endodontics in Santa Barbara, California, where he lives with his wife and two children. He also serves as an assistant clinical professor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, Department of Graduate Endodontics. In 1983 he established Dental Education Laboratories, and subsequently built a state-of-the-art teaching laboratory devoted to hands-on endodontic instruction, where he continues to teach today. Dr. Buchanan began pursuing 3D anatomy research early in his career, and in 1986 he became the first person in dentistry to use micro CT technology to show the intricacies of root structure. Prof Pintippa Bunyaratavej

Dr. Bunyaratavej received her DDS degree and graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University, Bangkok in 1993. She furthered her training by attending the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry, where she received her certificate in Periodontics and Master of Sciences degree in Periodontics in 1999. She became a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in 2000. During 1999-2000, she spent an extra year at University of Michigan, as was an adjunct lecturer/research fellow at the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry. Dr Daniel Buser

Dr. Da­niel Bu­ser is Pro­fes­sor and Chairman at the De­part­ment of Oral Sur­ge­ry at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Ber­n in Swit­zer­land since 2000. He spent several sabbaticals at Harvard University in Boston (1989-91), at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas (1995), and at the University of Melbourne (2007/08). In 2016, he spends another 6-month sabbatical at Harvard School of Dental Medicine for various projects. He served as President of various academic associations including the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) in 1996/97, the Swiss Society of Oral Implantology (SSOI) in 1999-2002, the Swiss Society of Oral Surgery and Stomatology (SSOS) in 2002-07. He was also President of the ITI (2009-13), the world’s largest association in the field of implant dentistry. He re­cei­ved several scientific awards by professional organizations such as the ITI, the AO, the AAP and the AAOMS. Recently, he was honored with an Honorary Professorship by the University of Buenos Aires (2011), the Brånemark Osseointegration Award by the Osseointegration Foundation in the USA (2013), an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Szeged in Hungary (2014), and the Jerome and Dorothy Schweitzer Research Award by the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics (GNYAP) in New York (2015). His main research areas are in surface technology, long-term stability of dental implants, tissue regeneration around dental implants, and Gui­ded Bo­ne Re­ge­ne­ra­tion. He has authored and co-authored more than 350 publications, which are highly cited, and several text books including two GBR books and several ITI Treatment Guides. He widely lectures at national and international conferences.

Dr Bobby Butler

Dr. Butler maintains a periodontal practice in downtown Seattle and has been an Affiliate Clinical Faculty member at the University of Washington. His practice reflects his emphasis on aesthetic microsurgery techniques, regenerative periodontal therapy, and implant aesthetics. He has lectured to the Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, International Association of Dental Research, Western Society of Periodontology and numerous other dental societies. Presentation topics have varied from implant aesthetics, periodontal aesthetics, non-surgical periodontal therapy to digital imaging in clinical practice.
