Dr Graham Carmichael

Dr Graham Carmichael graduated from the University of Western Australia School of Dentistry with honours, and a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics at the University of Sydney.
He is a board certified Specialist Prosthodontist and a member of the Academy of Australian and New Zealand Prosthodontists.
At UWA, he was awarded the Wynn Needham Memorial Prize (The student who is the most outstanding in the final year of the course). He was also awarded the Australian and NZ Society of Paediatric Dentistry Prize in Paediatric Dentistry and the internationally recognized Pierre Fauchard Academy Undergraduate Student Scholarship Award.
He is a Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and also has Membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Prosthodontics. He has also completed a Bachelor in Science at the University of Western Australia with a double major in Anatomy and Human Biology and Biochemistry.
Graham is a visiting lecturer at The University of Western Australia, Prosthodontic consultant at the University of Western Australia TMD and Orofacial Pain clinic, and Consultant Prosthodontist at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.
He has served on numerous committees including the Australian Dental Association WA Branch Council (2007 and 2008), the Australian Prosthodontic Society West Australian state committee (2007-current), Australian Prosthodontic Society Federal Treasurer (2009-2011), UWA Dental Alumni committee member (2003-2010), and the Australia Dental Association/University Continuing Dental Education Committee (2006-current).
Graham has delivered numerous lecture programs nationally and internationally to dentists on a variety of topics including surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry, aesthetic rehabilitations, porcelain veneers, dental trauma and sports dentistry, the management of the deteriorated dentition, and dental photography. He also runs a mentor program for dentists on surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry.
His research interests include the immediate replacement of teeth in the mandible (lower jaw), influence of bridge design on the outcome of treatment, and assessment of patient response to implant treatment.
Graham specializes in both the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant therapy, reconstruction of worn and deteriorated teeth, and cosmetic rehabilitations.
Dr Brian Mealey

Dr. Brian Mealey is a Clinical Professor. He was formerly the Graduate Program Director and Director of the Specialist Division in the Department of Periodontics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Dental School (until 2021). He received his DDS in 1983 from UTHSCSA, his MS degree from UTHSCSA in 1990, and his certificate in Periodontics in 1990 from Wilford Hall Air Force Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Mealey served over 21 years on active duty in the United States Air Force, including positions as the Chairman of the Department of Periodontics at Wilford Hall Medical Center, the Program Director of the U.S. Air Force Periodontics Residency, and the Chief Military Consultant in Periodontics to the Air Force Surgeon General. Dr. Mealey has published extensively in the scientific literature, with an emphasis on inter-relationships between oral and systemic health. He is co-editor and author of the textbooks Periodontics: Medicine, Surgery and Implants (2004, Elsevier Publishing), and Periodontal Medicine (2000, B.C. Decker Publishing). Dr. Mealey is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He has served organized dentistry at regional and national levels for many years. Dr. Mealey was previously a Director of the American Board of Periodontology and is currently an Examiner for the Board. He has also served as a Trustee of the American Academy of Periodontology and as President of the Southwest Society of Periodontists.
Dr Alberto Monje

Dr Craig Mallorie

Dr Mallorie has travelled the World to study the fine art of quality dental surgery on three continents. After completing undergraduate studies here in beautiful Wales (during which time he was awarded the Oral Surgery prize) he then completed further study at the Royal College of Surgeons, London. Following on from that Dr Mallorie spent some years working as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Senior House Officer in Wales involving many hours of oral surgery training and experience as well as being involved in teaching dental students how to remove complex wisdom teeth.
From there Dr Mallorie moved to Australia where he worked in the beautiful city of Melbourne in private practice. During his time there he dipped across the pond to California, the USA where he completed a one-year Master Implant Clinician Program through the University of California Los Angeles and the Global Institute for Dental Education. Dr Mallorie finished the course as top student amongst the international intake of150 Master Clinician’s. Following on from this, and thirsty for more study, he went onto complete a Graduate Diploma in Dental Implants from Sydney University with distinction whilst also maintaining a busy private practice in Melbourne.
Dr Mallorie has presented/lectured in the field of oral surgery and dental implants inChina, The Netherlands, USA, Australia and here in the UK. Whilst in Australia he was appointed Director of the Melbourne gIDE Master Implant Clinician Study Club from 2011-2014. He has also found time over the years to publish research papers in well-respected academic journals such as the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Angle Orthodontist.
Upon his return to the UK, Dr Mallorie completed postgraduate training in Dental Sedation at the prestigious King’s College London. Following the completion of this degree, Dr Mallorie worked on Harley Street in London which is arguably the most World-renowned medical district. The practice he worked at was the longest-established private dental surgery in the UK and working within its walls enabled him to continue to provide high-quality care for his patients. During his time in London, Dr Mallorie spent one day every week working as a Clinical Teacher in Oral Surgery at the World Class training facility at King’s College Hospital Oral Surgery Department. Here he spent his time teaching budding dental surgeons oral surgery and dental sedation skills.
Dr Mallorie has been placing dental implants for well over 10 years with a current success rate in excess of 98-per cent so you can rest assured you are in great hands.
Safe to say Dr Mallorie is well versed and experienced in dealing with all manner of dental implant cases from a single missing tooth replacement to a total smile rehabilitation with techniques such as“All-on-4” and “Teeth-in-a-day”. Dr Mallorie is an active member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons, the European Association of Dental Implantologists and the Global Institute for Dental Education. Whilst in London he was appointed as the London Regional Representative for the British Association of Oral Surgeons.
Away from the surgery Dr Mallorie also likes a challenge and over the years he has completed events such as the Tough Mudder in Australia, Tough Guy in England, The Mighty Deer Stalker in Scotland, and The World Bog Snorkelling Championships here in Wales. Dr Vinh Giap Nguyen

Dr Vinh Giap Nguyen obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgeon degree at McGill University, Montreal in 1987. In 2014, he was awarded a Masters of Science degree in Implantology from Goëthe University in Frankfurt, Germany. Leonardo Trombelli is a full professor and chair of the Department of Periodontology, School of Dentistry at the University of Ferrara. Dr. Zadeh is an Associate Professor at the USC School of Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr Wong completed his BDS degree at the National University of Singapore. His outstanding academic and clinical performance won him 2 university awards – the FAC Oehlers Gold Medel and Terrell Silver Medal. Dr Wong received specialized training in prosthodontics, which involves 3 years of post graduate education and earned his Master’s degree MSD and Certification in Prosthodotics at the University of Washington, USA.
An active speaker in the dentistry lecture circuit, he has lectured internationally in many countries such as USA, Italy, Malaysia, Korea, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Japan and Thailand. In 2002, Dr Wong was honored as the best presenter at the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry held at the Universal City, California. In recognition for his achievement in the field of Aesthetic Dentistry, Dr Wong was invited by the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry and European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry in 2004 to speak at the prestigious scientific meeting in Venice,Italy. In 2006, Dr Wong was involved in the Nobel Biocare World Tour meeting in Hong Kong, China and also the gIDE meeting in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2007, he was again invited by Nobel Biocare to take part in the World Conference in Las Vegas, USA. Dr Peter Wohrle

Dr. Wöhrle received his B.A. in Germany and completed a four-year certified dental technician program in Switzerland. Subsequently, Dr. Wöhrle entered Harvard University, where he received his DMD degree “cum laude”. While at Harvard, he completed the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodotics followed by the Advanced Education Program in Implant Dentistry. Dr. Wöhrle also holds a Masters of Medical Sciences degree in Oral Biology from Harvard.

Dr Michael Wise

Michael qualified from the London Hospital Dental School (University of London) in 1968 – B.D.S. (Hons), L.D.S., R.C.S. (Eng.). In 2007 he was voted 2nd in a national survey by The Dentist of: “who had the biggest influence on the UK dental profession”.
He was the first dentist to be awarded a Harkness Fellowship for two years study in the U.S.A., and he attended Indiana University between 1970 and 1972 where he obtained his M.Sc.D. in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics.He obtained his Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1972. For six years he received one to one training in surgery, being assisted in his practice at all of his surgical procedures by one of the UK’s leading oral surgeons.
He was a part-time Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Eastman Dental Institute in London until 1984 and then a part-time Research Fellow at the Institute. He maintains a private restorative practice in London, which he started in 1974, mainly treating patients who have failure in extensively restored dentitions. He is currently Visiting Professor at The Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. He is recognised by The General Dental Council as a Specialist in Restorative Dentistry and a Specialist in Oral Surgery.
Since 1977 he has run continuing education courses in his practice for groups of up to 25 dentists meeting one day per month for a year (these were the first courses in the UK with this format). Sessions meeting one day every three months were then offered to dentists who had completed the one year course and currently there are 90 dentists on continuing education courses with Michael in his practice. He also set up a course for dental hygienists meeting for a half a day every three months.
He is a member of many professional societies including the American Academies of Restorative Dentistry and Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics. He has lectured widely both nationally and internationally and is the author of many publications including a 10-part series on Occlusion and Restorative Dentistry published in the British Dental Journal in 1982 and subsequently produced as a BDJ handbook. He has written a text “Failure in the Restored Dentition : Management and Treatment”, published in English, Italian , German and Russian versions by Quintessence Publishing Company in February 1995. In the last year besides lecturing in the UK he has lectured in America (to the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, The American Equilibration Society and a 2 day course to a group from The University of Michigan), Russia and Italy. He has devoted a substantial part of his professional life to teaching and it is his view that being a practicing clinician enhances what he has to offer to the practitioner. Dr. Ulf Wikesjö received his DDS from Lund University, Sweden, and a DMD from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA; certification for advanced training in Periodontology at Lund University from the National Board of Health and Welfare, Sweden, and from Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, CA; and a Ph.D. (Odont. Dr.) on Experimental Wound Healing from Lund University.
Dr. Wikesjö currently holds appointments as Professor of Periodontics, Oral Biology & Maxillofacial Pathology, and Graduate Studies; Director, Laboratory for Applied Periodontal & Craniofacial Regeneration, Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA; and Adjunct Professor of Periodontology, Malmö University, Centre for Oral Health Sciences, Malmö, Sweden. Dr Steve Wallace

Dr. Stephen Wallace is a 1971 graduate of Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry with a Certificate in Periodontics. He has been on the faculty of the New York University Department of Implant Dentistry for 14 years attaining the academic rank of Associate Professor. He is a Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and a Fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Wallace’s time at New York University is divided between clinical teaching and human clinical and histologic research. He has helped develop the world’s largest data base on sinus augmentation surgery. He has performed research studies on products from the world’s leading manufacturers of implants and bone regenerative materials.
Dr. Wallace lectures at home and abroad on issues relating to dental implantology and periodontics. He is the author of an evidence-based review of the sinus augmentation procedure published in the Annals of Periodontology as well over 25 journal articles and textbook chapters. He is co-editor of a text book on sinus elevation surgery recently published in Italy. In addition to his faculty appointment, Dr. Wallace maintains a practice for Periodontics, bone regeneration and implant dentistry in Waterbury, CT.
Dr. Wallace lives in Cheshire, CT with his wife, Bonnie and his cat, Alley. His son, Eric, is an oral surgeon in Santa Barbara, CA and his daughter is an attorney living in Martha’s Vineyard.
